NF-3540 Mt. Hood View Dispersed — Mt. Hood NF

NF-3540 climbs the east flank of Mt. Hood National Forest to a compact roadside pullout that delivers a direct, unobstructed frame of Mt. Hood, rewarding the short drive in from OR-35. The site is level and fits one van or a car with a tent — small rigs can back in and open rear doors straight to the mountain. The paved approach has potholes and the gate closes seasonally in winter, so a spring-through-fall visit is the window.
