Austin Creek Dispersed — Mt. Hood NF

Description

Along the forested Clackamas River corridor of Mt. Hood National Forest, a pullout sits just off NF-46 along a short muddy spur leading down to Austin Creek. The spot is reasonably level and screened enough from the highway to sleep well, making it a practical overnight for travelers moving between the Willamette Valley and Eastern Oregon. Access road conditions can be soft when wet, and the site is best suited to smaller rigs.
