Nice campground
Lots to do in area, but can be loud with lots of people.

We enjoyed our stay in May. Camping area was muddy after several days of intermittent showers. Didn’t drain/dry quickly. Close to town. Wish the campsites were closer to the water. Nice trails. We had an issue with wasps by the restroom door which was taken care of promptly (I’m allergic). Was not impressed with the Park Host. Not friendly, their dogs barked non-stop when left alone in the trailer and they let their dogs run loose.

Very big spaces. only a few full hook ups Have to drive to fish, swim etc... minutes from Geneva on the lake. was able to use military discount. If we were in the area again , we would stay here
Tons of amenities, lots of sites, a beach, and a great little town minutes away.

On the lake and not far from the highway. We stayed in the deluxe cabin which were amazing. The views were fantastic even though the cabins are a little close together. The AC worked great and the screened porch let us enjoy the view bug-free. It was really like a hotel room on the water, we’d definitely come back. The tent areas looked good too though I don’t think any are on the lake.
Sandy beachside state park makes it feel like the ocean. Archery range on site. The cabins have the best water views. The other campsites (tent & RV) are semi-wooded. There’s a big marina and a resort on site so expect some wedding/event traffic and many boats (none of this was disruptive though).
I was on a road trip across the country and planned on visiting some friends in Cleveland, but had a couple nights to kill before getting there. I did a quick google search of decent places near Cleveland. Geneva Lake was about an hour drive. The campsite is cute and has great access to beautiful scenery. I personally enjoyed hanging out on the lake shore and taking some epic sunset shots.

Easy to get to, not crowded, the sites were paved and spaced decently and, it had bike paths! Another bonus is that it borders Lake Erie. We spent the next two days exploring the park and riding our bikes. There is a very quaint little “beach” town, Geneva on the Lake, that was within pedaling distance. We rode our bikes to town one night for dinner and ate outside at Eddie‘s Diner.
I haven't camped here but I have passed by many of time with the family, mostly visitors from out of state, on the way to or from a winery. They are always impressed with the scenery and the proximity to our home in Cleveland. It's a great little place to get away for the afternoon. Eventually I will camp here. . . . .
We went here with a large group of family for a long weekend and were so pleased with the campground, park, and our site. The site was large, wooded, and well maintained. The facilities were very clean as well. There is a bike trail, hiking trails, and the beach is near. Kids were entertained by the park and adults were content- can't ask for more :) It was a great place to hangout for a weekend!
