This is definitely a spot for folks who want to camp for cheap and spend their time NOT IN THE CAMPGROUND. Go explore Asheville!

This location is separated from a major highway only by 40 feet or so, so there was constant car noise. Their tent camping has little to no tree cover so we were roasting by 9 am.

But! The folks who run it are sweet and super accommodating. And it IS right on the river, where we got to do some tubing, and those folks were also really nice!
