The park itself is huge and has SO much to offer while camping here. Especially for families with kids. Multiple playgrounds (I think I counted 5), a pool, hiking trails, 4 ponds for fishings, baseball fields, volleyball sand court, the list goes on. The campground itself was not bad. Loop B has lots of tree cover with shade and privacy from neighbors. It’s just not very clean. Throughout our stay we kept finding remnants of past guests. Bottlecaps, pull tabs, candy wrappers and other assorted plastic pieces that mistakenly or purposely got left behind by other campers. I just wish the sites were picked up better. The bathhouse could also use some TLC. Especially in the form of shower curtains that fit the showers. The only saving grace is nice hot water with great water pressure. Overall a nice stay, and we’ll definitely be giving this place another try.
