Urban RV Park Close to Everything Asheville Has to Offer
We stayed at Bear Creek RV for a month and enjoyed being close to all things to see, eat, and do in Asheville.
SITES: Sites are close together. You can hear noise from the interstate, but after a while, you get used to it. Be sure to specify your rig size upon making a reservation as all sites vary in length. Some sites are 30amp only and accommodate only 20-foot trailers or less. Other sites are longer, and some are pull-through.
BATHHOUSE: 3 bathhouses are kept clean. The one beneath the office is the most recently updated (and pictured).
WIFI: Though the website says wifi throughout the park, the truth is it is not strong enough to reach the outer edges. So if your site is too far from the office, you won't be able to latch onto the wifi. The staff were apologetic about it and had an IT guy come out 3 times during our stay. Still, the wifi didn't improve so we would walk to the office and use their picnic tables outside to get work done.
WIFI The campground is shaped like a capital "Y" with some of the upper sites having a lovely view of the mountains. The pull-through sites are on the downstroke of the "Y."
POOL Though on the website it says the heated pool would be renovated by May 15 (the day after we arrived), it was not worked on during our stay. Hopefully, they get it redone for the Summer season as it would be an excellent respite from the mid-day heat.
LAUNDRY: 2 washers and 2 dryers are below the office for $1.75 per machine, per use.
Overall, a clean campground with friendly staff in a convenient location of Asheville.
