Rude management, no etiquette.

Second time staying here this season. Last time I thought the lack of site knowledge was just a fluke. Now I realize it's a "dont care" attitude of the management and how the young staff was trained.

The negatives... Booked a site in one area of the park because I was told the sites near our friends were full. Asked again at check in and was basically brushed off ( this site upgrade would have actually made more money for the campground) and was again told no and treated like I had asked her for her cc #. Visiting our friends site each day I could see the site I asked about then remained empty the whole time. This exchange took place after I saw the manager respond rudely to a seasonal who was asking about renewal for 2021 and removal of a tree following a recent bad storm. For both of these questions she was told " I've got my hands full, i'll have to call you tomorrow" in a condescending tone. Note: it was not busy at all.

Also during our stay it was conveyed to us by another camper that the seasonals are not happy with the new managment as it seems like they may have hired someone with no camping experience and thus does not truly understand some of the concerns people have. The once well groomed and maintained place ( see my previous review) is getting more weedy and unkempt.

They also now allow tents on any sites as they got rid of the designated tent area. This resulted in 4 sites behind our RV site that had set up spot lights and allowed their dog to wander around freely and crap on our site. This was in addition to them being permitted to cut through sites to access the bathrooms. ( the eliminated tent area was adjacent to the bath house which would have made this a non issue). Lastly they then left the campground in 3 cars mid day and left one dog tied up to a tree barking. Multiple campers from sites near us then went tent to tent seeing if anyone at all was still there. This ,in my opinion, could possibly be avoided if the person who checked them in had gone over things with them. However if its the same rude woman who checked me in i'm sure she did not as she couldn't be bothered to give me a check in packet, just a flyer with events on it. I had to dig out a previous one ( luckily I kept it) to check on certain hours and policies.

They also have a tendency to close one of the main roads in the campground for cornhole tournaments which they'd have plenty of room for without closing the road. This closure then means anyone checking in may have to navigate through a really tight seasonal area to access their site. This is seemingly done without consideration for rig size or angles needed to access sites. There is no escort to sites, even when their road closure has caused confusion or tension.

The positives.... Our site was shady and long. There is a farmers market not far away every Sat. 9-1 Harney and Sons teas is a short 20 min drive.
