We unknowingly visited Red River when all campgrounds were closed for the season and there was no lodging anywhere due to Oktoberfest. We drove up the road hoping for a Hail Mary, and lucked out with this spot. Yes it’s close to the road and was loud, but we were happy to get a spot and be buy the BEAUTIFUL rushing river. If I had my choice next time, I’d pick a different location further from the road but we were happy with what we got!
