Welcome to our historic 17-acre base camp with RV sites, apartments, rustic cabins and a penthouse condo in the center of town; we're family and pet friendly! We have a stocked trout pond and the Red River flows through the campground. We're an easy mile from the center of town. Come stay with us and enjoy all that Red River has to offer! Red River is at 8,661 feet with summers days in the 70°s and evenings in the 50°s. Perfect camping weather! We are a ski resort during the winter and we have winterized RV sites (heated water) for your year round camping pleasure. RV winter rates are $45/night. Summer rates vary depending on the site chosen. We have a "Buddy Site" section for families or groups (Sites 46-57) that is between the Red River and the trout pond. The Best Camping Near Red River, New Mexico

This camp ground has been a beautiful place for us to stay. My wife and I came for a weeks stay. We stayed in spot #59 which puts you along the river that is running through the property. The sound is so peaceful.  The camp ground also has it's own stocked pond. Guest are aloud to fish for two fish per day for each guest in your party. Wifi has been pretty good and no problem with cell service (we have Verizon)

4k River Ranch is the best campground in Red River. They've got RV sites, apartments, cabins and a beautiful penthouse in the center of town overlooking the town and mountain. The Red River runs through the park, so you can fish in it or in the stocked private pond. The have 50amp &amp; 30amp sites. Pull-thrus, back-ins &amp; buddy sites. WiFi is good for checking emails and browsing websites. Very nice bathrooms with showers plus a laundry room. The staff is fantastic and they've got a really nice new office/store. They're building new cabins along the Red River plus a new pavilion for family gatherings along with a playground for the kids.

Best campground in Red River, NM

This is the best rv park in Red River. The river runs right through the park. There is a trout pond, playground, pavilion with live music on most Fridays during the summer and they also have condos and cabins. The staff is so helpful and friendly. If you want to get out of the heat of the summer this is the place to be. Red River is 8,750’ above sea level in the mountains. Daytime temp is in the 70°s and nights are in the 50°s all summer long.

This place is in a prime location. The view was 5 out of 5. The cleanliness is 2 out of 5. We didn’t have any cell service. The shower was lukewarm.

You Could Do Worse 

We enjoyed our stay.  It was very clean and gorgeous Mountain Views.  The showers were clean and they did have laundry facilities.  We enjoyed the small play area and the stream.
