The Best Camping Near Sugar Hill, New Hampshire

We just spent 5 days at this wonderful campground. 
They have paid attention to all of the finer details. Beautiful landscaping, well leveled sites, very clean and neat. The staff is wonderful. 
My only disappointment with the camp is that there are only a few sites with sewer hookup. However, the dumping station is conveniently located, so if you have a small tank, daily trips are not a problem. 
There is plenty to do in the area - Littleton is a beautiful little town. The old houses in are incredible. New Hampshire is not a dog friendly state, but a short Drive into Vermont gets you access to many fine restaurants where you can bring your dog. Be sure to visit Dog Mountain in Vermont- a truly touching memorial to departed pets.

We stayed in a 5th wheel, sites are on the small side on the back in side, but plenty of room on the pull in sites. Very friendly and helpful staff and beautiful views of the river. This is a dog friendly campground.

Site #18 was gorgeous, close to the river so could hear the water every night, plenty of riverside sites. Staff at KOA were awesome!!

If you are looking to be secluded it's not for you, however, it is centrally located to attractions in the white mountains and Franconia. Short drive to The Lost River Gorge, Cannon Mountain, The Basin and other attractions. Lost of shopping nearby. The campground is very clean and updated. Laundry and new bathrooms. Employees are friendly and efficient to your needs.  The River is very shallow and rocky, so no real opportunity to swim, tube or kayak onsite, however they have a pool which was not crowded as well as other activities (horseshoes, playground, cornhole). Very dog friendly if your pup is well behaved.

Cute quiet campground right next to the river. Clean facilities. Ok WiFi. No Verizon coverage.
