Sand Mine Road #110 Dispersed Camping

Open rocky area dispersed

This free dispersed area is adjacent to the more famous Snowbird Mesa site around the hill closer to Overton. This area is also managed by the Bureau of Rec but has a 14d camping limit, whereas the Snowbird Mesa area has a season long camping from Oct 1 to may 1. The Sand Mine road #110 area is less crowded and more spread out. Cell signal is still good. No water, trash dumpsters or fire rings. Area is somewhat harsh and rocky surface.
