I was wondering how the park would be based o. The website and limited online pictures but it is larger than expected and very well kept. The lawns were immaculate. We paid for a premium spot and it had concrete with a walkway to the street. The employees were very nice and one even gave my dogs a treat!
Pricey, (132 a night) but given the location.. we’ll maintained and grass at each site. Friendly service no clean amenities
We really enjoyed this spot. Very well kept easy to find. We were able to check in after hours. Very accommodating. Would definitely recommend. Would definitely stay here again.
Extremely friendly staff. Clean park and restrooms. Laundry facilities. Shade trees and kept lawns. A large kids area. Big store with plenty of necessities as well as fun stuff. Two local Pizza places deliver to your site. We would definitely stay here again when visiting YNP.
This RV park exceeded all my expectations. It’s huge but has so much green space, trees, clean clean bathrooms with really nice showers, laundry facilities, etc. It’s been a very pleasant find on our trip!
Very clean and quiet. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Great location for getting into the park.
I learned my lesson about booking cheaper places further away from the National Parks. The longer drives and extra hours wore me out. This is the perfect place to visit Yellowstone NP. Literally outside the west entrance. Worth the money for the conveniences and especially great WiFi.
Very large campground, great location to West Yellowstone and Yellowstone NP. We were directly across from the bathroom/shower which was nice but not big enough for the amount of campers staying there. Staff was very helpful .
Sites are spacious, grounds are very well kept, and staff is friendly. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping and a less than 5 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone
Great campground, staff very polite, clean easy to get to
Beautiful park with well laid out sites. gravel site for your RV paved picnic area some sites back up to the natural Forest.
Close quarters, but nice park with good facilities.
Spent four days the end of August. Weather was pleasant and campground was very clean. Spacing not too bad, but I like State Parks as you get privacy. You are very close to town and entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Has full hookups to include cable TV.
Very clean facilities and spacious sites. Big rig friendly as well as camper vans and everything in between. Very friendly and helpful staff. Check in is fast and easy. Stayed 3 nights and hated to leave. Highly recommended.
Stayed here for 4 nights before heading down to the Tetons. Very nice campground and campsites were clean and well maintained. Bathhouses we’re clean as well. Kids can ride their bikes throughout the campground on nice pavement. There’s also several miles of mountain bike trails just behind the campground that mine son and I enjoyed. Nice zip line course next door. The staff was super friendly and they carry many necessities should you need them. Campground is just a couple blocks from West entrance to Yellowstone. Take some time to check out all of downtown West Yellowstone. Great little town with good food and nice shops. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip.
Our stay at Yellowstone Grizzly was amazing. We were convenient to Yellowstone National Park and to the restaurants in town. Our site was perfect and we felt right at home. The staff also were both friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this park for anyone visiting the area who likes convenience and a well kept park. We would come back here again.
Nice, clean campground. Close to west entrance and walk into town. Camp store is open until 9pm in July. We had a nice back in site with the woods behind us.
Perfect for Yellowstone visitors! Just about as close as you can get to the park without being IN the park - which is perfect because traffic was crazy when we went!
We stayed here on 6/9/21 during our visit to Yellowstone and Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park. We were there only 1 night but the place is very clean and kid friendly. Great location in West Yellowstone. We stayed in site E1. Would be a nice place to stay a few days. We would stay there again. Water and electric hook ups and cable TV. The dump station has weird hours of availability so be aware.
Yellowstone Campgrounds did not open until May 15th due to snow and COVID so we had to find a last minute convenient RV park right in town two blocks from the gate.
This one was clean and well organized. Full hookups and neatly landscaped. It has the usual conveniences like laundry, toilets and showers, a playground and pavilion as well as a well organized dump station and good layout with at least 304 sites.
Great rv park minutes from the Yellowstone entrance. Full hookups, decent site sizes. Everything is well maintained. There are bathrooms, multiple laundry facilities, playground. There is also a pay dump site for people not staying here.
We stayed here while we spent some time on the west side of Yellowstone National Park. The site we stayed in was a Premium Pull Thru- 80', which was wide, level, and had a nice patio and grassy areas. The mobile network connectivity was great for working during the week. There is WiFi available, but we didn't use it and relied on our cell phone/hotspot plans. The staff was friendly. The grounds were well maintained. There's no traffic noise, which is nice. The location is close and convenient for getting into Yellowstone National Park as well as the small town of West Yellowstone.
This location is a perfect place to stay for a Yellowstone visit. My partner and I were just passing through Yellowstone for the day coming up from the Tetons and booked a single night here to crash after. It’s really close to the west entrance to the park. Amenities here were great, and everything was really nice and quiet at night. It’s also about a 13 minute walk from the bustle of West Yellowstone which has some cute souvenir shopping and local restaurants. I’d absolutely stay here again.
This place is really well-run. It is pristine, close to everything (including Yellowstone entrance and town). You could even walk into town if you wanted. There’s a good dog walk area (but avoid the sites adjacent if you don’t want your dog greeting every dog passing). It was packed full and still felt adequately spaced. Will absolutely be back.
If you want privacy, this isn’t your place, but if you want a nice, clean site, try here. Staff is friendly. Location is close for entrance into Yellowstone NP. Sites are close together, but some have nice views (but they cost more). The town has a many restaurants and gift stores if you want that sort of thing.
This was a really clean and well run park! We were in the deluxe forest back in site and having the dog trail and forest right behind our site was perfect for us. The sites are close together but we spent very little time at the site with all there was to do. You are close enough to walk into town to shop or grab a bite to eat. They were full and we had wanted to extend our stay a day so they put us on a cancellation list. Unfortunately when a site opened up, they called while we in the park and we didn’t have service so we missed getting the extra night. I would recommend this if you are looking for a full amenity RV Park that is right at the entrance to Yellowstone. We had a great stay!
We loved this place. Very cool area with lots to do and see. Only a couple of miles.from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It borders a forest with plenty of trails. Big campground and very busy. Food and amentities for trips to the park are close by.
West Yellowstone Grizzly campground is located close to the West Yellowstone entrance. It is an Rv Park, lodging, and cabins. It is also in the town of West Yellowstone which is a darling little town with so much to do. The Rv sites are full hook ups and they have picnic benches on a leveled gravel site. There are no fires allowed here and it is pet friendly. . They have WiFi and cable. The sites are pretty close together, which I did not like. There is a grass area on each site which is wonderful for dogs. There are 4 laundry rooms and clean bathrooms and showers. We stayed for 2 days and would stay again.
Nice campground, but a little pricey. The town is gorgeous. Literally at the west entrance to Yellowstone NP. Very clean and organized. It's on the edge of a large forest (possibly NP land?) with lots of trails to explore. If you are coming to Yellowstone from the south or east, it's a bit of a drive, but we went through Teton NP and it was amazing!!! Besides Yellowstone, there are a ton of things to do in the area.
