Good Pit Stop

The campground was very clean. We stayed there on our way home from Yellowstone. The camp site were set up a little strange. Luckily there wasn’t anyone next to us or their front door and outside area would have shared ours. It is right next to Qual Lake. We stayed in site 32. Full hook ups and cable TV. We would stay again.

Beautiful Spot

We stayed here during our visit to Yellowstone on 6/12/21. Right on the Madison River. Great for fishing and relaxing and wild life. Dry camping with dump station on site. We stayed in site A5. We would stay there again.

Perfect Location

We stayed at Canyon Campground in Yellowstone on 6/11/21 during our visit to Yellowstone. Great location next to Canyon Village and real close to Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Nice camp site. Dry camping with dump station on site. We stayed in J189. Would stay here again.

Right on the River

We stayed here 6/10/21 during our visit to Yellowstone and Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park. Right on the Yellowstone River in Gardiner. Good location with a great view. We were in site 7. Full hook ups and cable TV. We would stay there again.

Very Nice Place

We stayed here on 6/9/21 during our visit to Yellowstone and Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park. We were there only 1 night but the place is very clean and kid friendly. Great location in West Yellowstone. We stayed in site E1. Would be a nice place to stay a few days. We would stay there again. Water and electric hook ups and cable TV. The dump station has weird hours of availability so be aware.

Good Location

We stayed there 6/7 and 6/8/21 while we were visiting Grand Teton National Park. Good location to enter park on Moose Wilson road. This is a small entrance and no RV’s can enter here. The campground was clean. Only electric hook ups and cable tv. There was water available to fill your tanks and a dump station on site. They rent cars on site which is really convenient. It was over priced for what you get but the location is nice. It worked for us and we would stay there again. We were in site 70.

Pleasant Surprise

We stayed there 6/6/21 on our way to Yellowstone. Great place for a pit stop. Very clean with friendly staff. Great location if you wanted an ATV vacation. Full hook ups. We stayed in site 8. We would stay there again.

Very nice place

We stayed at Smithwoods October 18-20. We were in site J, on the point. It was nice and big. Full hook ups. We had a great view of the San Lorenzo River and Henry Cowell State Park. The staff is great and helpful. We had a small issue with our cable tv(no fault of theirs) and they came right over and fixed our issue. The place is dog friendly. We had our two dogs. Be ready for no cell or WiFi. We occasionally got 1 bar of cell service in our site if we stood in a certain spot. (AT&T)There was WiFi up at the office but it was inconsistent. Our son did his online school and he kept dropping off. But we worked through it. It was a short nice hike to the state park and the train through the red woods. Fun experience on a real steam locomotive. We would stay there again next time we are in the Santa Cruz area.

Zion Amazing

We stayed here 10/6-10/9/20. We stayed in site D29 right on the river. Great spot. Beautiful river view/access. Too bad the river was contaminated at the time with some sort of neurotoxin. Full hook ups. Mediocre cell service and horrible WIFI. Connected to a hotel for friends without RV’s. Short walk to amazing Zion. Would definitely stay here again.

Great time

We stayed here 2 nights on 10/4-10/5/20. Site B6. The campground was clean and quiet. It was a 10 minute walk to the marina or the beach. We rented a boat for the day at the marina. Cell service was ok. WIFI was terrible. Full hook ups. Good view of the lake. Would stay here again.

Great stopping point

On our way to other destinations we stopped here for the night on 10/3/20. Wow! Pleasant surprise. The campground was clean and the staff was friendly. It is a quick 5 minute drive to either Williams or the deer farm zoo. Both are great places to visit. On a different visit to Williams we went to Bearzona zoo and that is also a great place to visit. There is a go cart track at the campground and it was a blast for my son and I to try. The campground provided a pumpkin and carving kit for the kids. Awesome touch! We would definitely stay here again.

Nice place

My wife, son and I stayed here with our two dogs for the weekend of 9/11. It was a nice surprise. The place was clean and the sites were private. The campground overlooks Camp Pendleton. The sites had electric and water hook ups with a dump station on site. Good cell service with AT&T. It was a nice 40 minute hike to Trestles Beach. We would definitely stay here again. It was close and convenient for a local camp trip.

Amazing Time

First time to the Kern River. Loved it. We were there August 1-6. The River was a little low but it was perfect for us with our 5 year old son. We were able to float down the river in our inner tubes safely. We were told May to June the river is very high in this area. We also fished in the river. Our camp site was great. We stayed in site 81 in our class C RV. Corner site on a creek that ran through the campground. The creek was great to sit in to escape the heat and float down. Lots of kids and dog friendly. The WIFI was good to stream TV and ATT cell service was good too. The sites had power, water and cable TV hook up. There is a dump station in the campground. They clean and rake all camp sites after each use and they enforce the 10:00pm quiet time. It is a short walk/ride to Kern River Brewery. Or it is about a hour drive to Trail of 100 Giants Sequoia Trees. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Escape the heat

We just stayed on June 27 for 1 night. We did a day trip into Joshua Tree National Park, which was amazing. It was a hot day but the RV park had full hookups so we could run the AC in the RV to escape the heat. The RV park was just a short drive from the National Park. There was clean with a little fishing lake and it was dog friendly. We would stay here again next time to Joshua Tree. We had 2 bars of ATT&T

Better than expected

My wife, son and I stayed here May 11-13 in our class C. We even brought our two dogs. A quick get away during the lock down. This was one of the few campgrounds we found that were taking reservations. They only took full hookup sites because bathrooms, showers and laundry are closed. The playground was open. Fun bounce pad. There is frisbee golf and horse shoes. They even have an Emu that is friendly and your kids can pet. The place is very clean and the staff is friendly. The campground was pretty empty except for a very few brave campers and the staff. It is a short walk down to Lake Santa Margarita. We stayed in site 28. AT&T cell service was zero to very poor at our site. WiFi was poor and slow. They advertised good WiFi in our spot but it just wasn’t so. A bit pricey but we just wanted to get out of the house. We would stay here again.
