Nice wooded setting near West glacier
Beginning off season, pull through site with water and electric. Uncrowded, convenient, but close to highway so a bit noisy. Bathrooms could use some heat and attention.

This place was nice. The staff was so friendly. Cafe with giant cinnamon rolls hit the spot. Showers were nice and hot. We were in the middle of tall trees which provided shade later in the day. Nice big dog park. Location is close the west Glacier entrance
We had a beautiful site with a view of the mountains. Our dog Bentley loved the spacious while we enjoyed the delicious cinnamon roles from the bakery at the General Store! 😋
The Resort is located a short 2.5 miles from the entrance of Glacier National park. So it doesn't take long to get out to you favorite hiking trail or lake for boating or swimming.
Everything on campus was built tough, built to last: the fire pit area, the campus store, the sitting area behind the store, the planters…even the volleyball net posts had new caps fitted on them so the water wouldn’t get down in there and rust the metal. Very well maintained. AND they have propane filling ON SITE. Great place.
Nice campground. Some highway noise, some train noise. It did not bother us. 35’ super c with trailer. Nice big site. Easy to back in.
Great campground nestled in lodgepole pines. Campground was relatively quiet despite its close proximity to the highway. Everything was very clean and organized. Camp host was friendly. It is very close to the West entrance of Glacier National Park. If you need a day to relax outside of the park there are plenty of fun activities for the kids to do. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.
We stayed here for about a week. It’s only 2.5 miles from the west glacier entrance and on the same side as the bike path for easy safe access. It’s a very clean and quiet campground. They have some nice sites surrounded by tall pines and some for larger RVs more in the open. Cute little cafe and store as well. At the time we couldn’t have a fire but they provide one nightly and it was perfect for our kids to toast marshmallows. We appreciated that because the parents were often too tired to deal with a fire after long days hiking, swimming and exploring the beautiful area.
This was the perfect place for us during our visit to Glacier National Park. The hosts were very kind and there is a gift shop onsite. Other amenities included playground, dog park, restrooms/showers, and I think there was a laundry room, too. The WiFi was excellent! Spots are rather close, but it doesn’t feel so as the trees and shrubs between the spots provide a little privacy and separation. It is located near a busy road and train tracks, so you will likely hear traffic noise, but it did not bother us. I would recommend this place and would definitely choose them if we come back to this area.
This was a great place to stay for us! The lots are well maintained and even though spacing is close, it doesn’t feel that way due to the row of trees and shrubs separating the spaces. There is a store and other facilities onsite. The hosts are very kind. This campground is located very close to the Glacier National Park Entrance. I would highly recommend this place.
Nice place
At one time, I could see this might have been the KOA "back in the day" playground. Common areas. Fresh baked goods. Close to other tourist activities (adventure park, zipping, water park, souvenirs, huckleberry and cherry roadside stands, etc) not to mention, close to Glacier. It's no longer the new and shiny, but it's perfectly suited for a base camp. The guy I checked in with was super nice and helpful. The bathhouse is basic. The baked goods at the office/camp store looked amazing. Everything was clean. The sites are a little too close for us, but not a deal breaker. As with every other parks in the area, sites are not always completely level. I would ask to look at the site before committing. It just makes it less stressful. We would be back.
And, oh yeah. Trains and road noise can be heard, so if you have trouble sleeping, I recommend ear plugs. Problem solved.
Located west of Glacier Park on highway 2, it’s close enough to visit the park and also close to Whitefish and not super far from Flat Head Lake. Sites are close together but most have trees between each spot so there’s a feeling of privacy. Most sites are pull through and are very easy to access. Bathrooms were nice, but basic. They have a laundry room with pay machines and a deep utility sink where we washed our dishes. There is a little cafe and small gift shop that has some goods, but mostly souvenir type stuff. Get the huckleberry muffin! It’s amazing!
This is an RV park with sites between trees. Mostly spaces well. Just 1 bathroom so some sites are quite a walk from them. Laundry facilities great. Staff are nice and store is cute. We are self contained but had to have a site with electric and water and it was very expensive. We were able to get a last mu site for July 4. Close to Glacier so convenient for exploring.
Loved this place. Was nice and everything fine. Will stay again
Very close to the park, adequate WiFi, no cable and trees blocked satellites. Did not use any facilities. Stopped serving breakfast the first day we were there. We stayed three nights. Not much happening close by! Be sure and ask if your site will be paved, some are, ours wasn’t. If it is raining, pine straw sticks to shoes and gets everywhere in unpaved sites.
Stayed here for two nights. Really enjoyed it and great amenities. Wifi, showers, community campfires, and laundry. Not to mention it’s a super close drive to Glacier National Park. Nice family owned place the staff was great!
We ended up doing 2 nights at the bed and breakfast and 1 night at one of the campsites. The bed and breakfast was fantastic; nice clean rooms and shower and a tasty breakfast. The campsite were nice too, just a simple pull in with room for a tent and picnic table. The highway at night can be fairly noisy, but you're about 5 minutes from the entrance to the park... highly worth it. If you can’t find a place inside the park, I would highly recommend them.
Glacier National Park was the ultimate destination for our two-week anniversary trip, so we wanted to be very close to the park so that we could make the most of our time there. Moose Creek did not disappoint! We stayed here for four nights at Site 12, while our friends occupied Site 11. After reading on the website that our GPS may not be reliable, we called and got more specific directions from Katie and easily found the campground off of Highway 2.
Checking in was a breeze as was setting up. At Site 12, we had to be careful of trees obstructing our slide and awning, but we figured that out pretty quickly. The site was shady and had various wildflowers. Ground squirrels and robins were in abundance and fun to watch. Our only disappointment was the highway noise. We weren’t expecting that but eventually were able to tune it out. Other than the highway noise, the campground was quiet during our stay.
We utilized the laundry facility during our first day. We were able to get a $10 roll of quarters from the front desk and knock out our laundry fairly quickly. The washers are pretty small but the dryers are huge, so plan accordingly. We never used the bathrooms or showers, so I can’t comment on their state. The communal fire area was really cute, but we opted to use our own propane fire pit at our site. We toured the other sites and loved the primitive sites at the back of the campground as they afforded campers more privacy.
Most of our time on this leg of our journey was spent in Glacier exploring the beautiful park, and Moose Creek served our needs as a home base for our first trip to the area. We would definitely stay here again! We really enjoyed the clean grounds, proximity to Glacier, friendly staff, and full hookups.
This is a nice convenient place to stay close to glacier but we were disappointed by how much high way noise there is even through the night. We were also disappointed to find out that there are no fire pits except for one community one. If we had seen this online a head of time we would have looked at other places.
