Both sites I stayed at were very open. Bathrooms and spigots seemed really far away. The only positive I give the sites is that they are exactly outside of the Grand Canyon which made it easier to beat the crowds

Crowded, crowded, crowded. I was expecting it but just way too many people for me. My site had 0 shade, like, none. Ground was tough, couldn’t get my spikes in had to hammer away to get them down. Nights were incredibly windy. If you can score a better spot than I did and don’t mind Disneyland crowds, the campground can be okay. Just really not for me at all

Sites were nice and quiet. Bathrooms were good. Bryce Canyon is right across from the campground.

What a nice place to stay. Sites were a good size with all the amenities. Close to some nice hikes, the orchards and the pie place the Gifford house.

Wow, what a place to stay. Sites are nicely spread out for being a smaller campground. Being in one of the most popular national parks in the country, you really felt like you had a place to your own. My site was right behind skyline arch, which I could walk to without the crowds near me. Highly recommend my site!

Well, that wasn’t fun. If anyone is planning on tent camping here, I would highly suggest going somewhere else. The dunes are awesome, but wow were the sites a let down. The fields had no grass and minimal shade. I ended up sleeping in my car but with the heat, needed the windows down. That’s when I entered mosquito hell and spent the night swatting skeeters all night. For an rv, sure good spot but tent campers beware.

This sight is good but wouldn’t recommend if rent camping. Way too windy at night.

Went in late June. Our sight was very big and right next to the river. Camp sites were very spaced out too which was a plus. Close to the town of Packwood as well as the National Park. I highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a campsite in the park where you can still get some solitude, Fish Creek is the one for you. An excellent spot right on Lake McDonald

We ended up doing 2 nights at the bed and breakfast and 1 night at one of the campsites. The bed and breakfast was fantastic; nice clean rooms and shower and a tasty breakfast. The campsite were nice too, just a simple pull in with room for a tent and picnic table. The highway at night can be fairly noisy, but you're about 5 minutes from the entrance to the park… highly worth it. If you can’t find a place inside the park, I would highly recommend them.

I only ended up camping here for one night since it was booked, but would have liked to stay another. I think it may have just been the campground I stayed at, but mine was very very small. Like, picnic table almost on top of the campfire small. I went solo, but if I had my family with me all 4 of us wouldn’t have been able to sit all around the camp fire. Again, I think it was just my spot, but maybe do your research before to find a bigger site

I rolled into camp a little later in the day and found a great spot to set up camp. From the campground to Smith Rock State Park it was only a 15 minute drive. At night could see the Milky Way.

Good site for a stop onward to Glacier. Very quiet which was very nice!
