Great campground nestled in lodgepole pines. Campground was relatively quiet despite its close proximity to the highway. Everything was very clean and organized. Camp host was friendly. It is very close to the West entrance of Glacier National Park. If you need a day to relax outside of the park there are plenty of fun activities for the kids to do. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.
Awesome little campground next to Grasshopper Creek. There aren’t many sites here but we were lucky enough to get two. Each space has plenty of room for the kids to run around and play. Caught a few fish on the fly too. Mosquitos were bad, no surprise there with the creek close by. The ghost town is a must see!
Beautiful campground just off of I-15. Campground was very quiet and surprisingly green for August. Campground was very neat and clean.
This is a beautiful campground that is close to many lakes. Navigating through the campground is very tight with large boulders and logs inconveniently placed. It took much longer than usual to back our 32 foot trailer into our site. I wouldn’t recommend anything longer than 32’ at this camping regardless of what the site says unless you’re staying at the group site.
This is a beautiful campground with lots of trees and plenty of shade. The river is a short walk away. Campground spacing is excellent. Site 14 is reportedly a double site which is not the case. It is a nice big open site but putting two trailers there is not feasible. If you’re planning a trip with others it would be best to get two sites together. I still give this place 5 stars!
We stayed in site #27. It was very quiet with lots of trees. Other than the site on the other side of the road there is plenty of space between the next sites. There are several lakes close by and plenty of trails to hike. This was our first trip to Lost Creek and we’re already planning to go again next year.
Beautiful campground overall. We stayed in site #8 which is secluded. We have a 32’ trailer and thought we could turn around in the site, don’t try that. There is a +/- 30 yard lane you have to back down to get your trailer to the site. The site is not level and is covered with crushed rock instead of smooth gravel. Two of my three kids tripped and fell. The crushed rock is sharp and both kids that fell had several cuts. The reservoir is pretty and close to the site but is covered with moss that reaches from the floor of the reservoir to the surface. This made it nearly impossible to fish. I’m sure it wouldn’t be as bad in the spring. We went in mid-August. Also, be careful of the large boulders inconveniently placed along the road. We almost hit one with our trailer but luckily saw it and hit the brakes. This particular boulder had several large scrapes on it which I’m sure were caused by trailers. Because I have young kids I wouldn’t recommend site #8 due to the crushed rock and poor fishing conditions.
