Outstanding

This is a beautifully maintained, brand new KOA. The young man who owns it is making many improvements. The showers are extremely nice. There’s a little camp store with a coin laundry. The owner is very knowledgeable about the area including glacier national Park. I would highly recommend this…

Quite in the spring

We stayed here on a 1 night stop over on our way to moab. We crossed the dam and found an entire campground empty. Very basic but quiet. Woke up to snow on the ground.

Three forks KOA

Not sure if this is the same campgrounds as listed Nice place, good shade clean. New KOA owner here very friendly and all around awesome. Though spot close quarters tight turns. I think rigs or trailer bigger then 24ft will have a hard time maneuvering in here, but they do have good spots too. Ours…

Gorgeous and private

All the sites are fairly private, nestled in the mountains among the trees and alongside a stream. We visited mid May 2021, it snowed overnight so it was a bit freezing, but otherwise such a beautiful stay.

Missouri headwaters

Pretty nice place. Campsites barely fit a tent but some sites for campers. Lots of hiking trails and super clean bathrooms. $24 for out of staters for the night

Lakeside and very relaxing

I’ve camped here many times for most of my life and it’s always been the same. Early season you’d be surprised at how not busy it is. With the Madison river spots filling up fast Ennis lake usually has spots to offer. It is close to some residents but this isn’t a lake in the mountains. Bathrooms…

Not a KOA

Got there at 5:30pm and the office was already closed. We setup and then found out the water wasn't on because of the cold temperature. They did have a few frost free spigots around but we didn't want to move. The bathrooms and showers were old and not as clean as they could of been. Wifi was…

Great location on creek, some sites better than others, be bear aware!

Drove through this campground back in June, but ultimately decided not to stay there because most of the sites were full and the few available were quite small and had very little privacy.

That said, other sites sat further back from the little dirt road that winds through the campground, are…

  • Spire Rock, the campground's namesake.
  • The little road that does a loop through the campground. Really beautiful area, but be ready for weather.

Pleasant Overnight Stay

Very pleasant place to spend the night. Manager very helpful in finding the perfect site for TV reception. Spacious gravel site, although needed quite a bit of leveling. Didn’t use any of the facilities, just enjoyed the serene environment, bunnies and doves. Perfect place to spend the night on way…

Great smaller campground

Very clean and quiet. Great access to the river. Great river access 1/4 mile up the road also. They sell firewood and ice are the ranger station.

Really nice campground

It was really nice and really clean. We stayed for 3 nights here. Everyone was really helpful getting us setup with how we needed to be. We have a big rig and was towing a trailer so the turns were somewhat tight getting in and out. But other than that it was very nice and clean. The showers and…

A stop along the way

This was a safe easy stop along the way from Yellowstone to Glacier National Park. $35. for a tent site with water hookup. Nothing fancy — a wooded parking lot with fire rings and picnic tables. Better than most RV lots. All spaces are pull through (huge relief traveling with a tiny cargo trailer…

Great Family Camping Experience

We had a great experience! We took our whole family, multiple tents, and dogs. We were in one of the group sites (#2) with creek access in our site it was perfect. The views were stunning, the hosts were friendly, and the toilets were the cleanest we've ever seen.

Quiet hours strictly enforced

Got in late (after 9), but they where nice enough to give us a tent site to camp in. Amenities are nice, but my only negative for us was that quiet hours where at 10pm and a lot of their guest go to sleep at that time, so they enforce that rule. If you are looking for a quiet place after 10 though,…
