Slept in this fire tower with 3 friends. Great challenging snowshoe hike in winter. In summer you can drive a Jeep right up to the tower so it’s like a backcountry experience without all the work and with some creature comforts. Cozy wood fireplace and bunk beds. I assume it'd be cool in summer. Tons of wildlife and views. Make sure to reserve in advance and talk with rangers.
