Copper Creek campground is situated close to copper Creek just prior to its juncture with the middle fork of Rock Creek. It has eight sites and although most of the forest is burned it is a beautiful campground. The camp host is friendly and he keeps the campground clean. It is very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. You are within a few miles of two trails that will take you into the Anaconda Pintlar wilderness area and another trail that is the Easthouse recreation trail. If you drive up for a service road 1511 for about a mile and a half you even have a cell phone signal. Road 1511 is just south of the campground and heads off to the southeast.
