Nostalgic
Deeply wooded campground high-up on a ridge overlooking hills below. We chose to stay here for several days while we toured Branson and Table Rock because of the nostalgia of the vintage facilities, and we were not disappointed. This place has the feel of old campgrounds before modern facilities and accommodations were demanded for everyone’s 80ft rig. It feels more like you are camping at a state park in the 1960s. There are a wide variety of spots that are spread out and separated by old pines and sharp changes in grade (some campsites are literally 20ft higher than the adjacent campsite). The pool, game-room, restrooms, showers, and camp store are right out of summer camps from years past, complete with wood paneling. We stayed in spot 34 with our converted sprinter van and had no issues getting in or out, or fitting in our spot. Prices are very reasonable (better than KOA) if you call ahead. We would definitely stay here again. Please don’t change anything!
