We stayed at this campground over July 4th weekend, so every other campground was completely booked. But state and national forest campgrpunds are first come first serve which worked out prefect as we got there early and snagged a site! There are 38 sites at this campground, however about 30 of them I'd only rate a 3. If you go look for one of the lake view sites, they are BEAUTIFUL! With a nice breeze coming off the lake, many with their own personal beach on your site! If you don't get a lakeview site the rest is just your basic small plot of grass, picnic table, and fire ring. We went in July so the mosquitoes were pretty bad, but with a Lakeview site the breeze coming off the lake kept most of them away! If you have a canoe, kayak, or boat this campground is perfect for you!!
