We normally love it here, but this weekend it was like nobody cares about keeping up this campground any more. (Edited in May of ‘24 - it’s much better kept now….)Yes, it’s early in the year, but there were overflowing trash bins, no firewood, and no toilet paper in any of the outhouses. If you’re going to be open for camping, then at least provide the basic necessities that MN State Parks are known for. (It would take 15 minutes to throw some TP in the outhouses!) Too bad. Also edited to add that if site #16 is your site, the electrical box is on the opposite side of the site than normal, so be prepared to possibly need an extension cord. Very odd.
