Rivergate Family Campground is located near Hastings, Michigan, featuring flat terrain with nearby wooded areas. With just 36 sites, we may be the smallest campground in the area, and that allows us to focus on you!  Just let us know your needs, and we will do our best to make sure you have a great time while you are here!

Bring the gear of your choice and take off on a biking expedition through rural countryside, canoe or kayak miles of beautiful river, or grab the waders and poles and seek out magic holes for gills and perch for a weekend fish fry.  Bring the boat and head out after trophy muskies in the annually-stocked Thornapple Lake, or just cruise, float, or even ski if that's your pleasure.  Kids love the sandy beach at Historic Charlton Park, and walkers enjoy the wooded trails throughout its 320-acre recreation area.  If you want to slow down for the weekend, bring your favorite book and read by the river, or enjoy an evening fire with friends and family

The Best Camping Near Hastings, Michigan

This is a nice campground with spots to dock your boat. There is a camp office in a small cabin when you pull in. Also a small cabin with showers. 

Nice litte campground 

We were the only tents on site. Very little shade, with no river access at all. No amenities, but there is a nice bathroom.
