Spacious Skies Walnut Grove is located near Alfred, Maine, featuring a landscape of mixed woodlands and open spaces. The area experiences temperatures ranging from 20°F in winter to 80°F in summer. Nearby attractions include the scenic Massabesic Experimental Forest and the historic Alfred Shaker Museum.

Spacious Skies Walnut Grove sits in historic Shaker country and is just 30 to 40 minutes away from downtown Portland, classy Kennebunkport, and all the southern Maine beaches. Right around the corner from the campground you’ll find access to Shaker Pond for fishing and paddleboating, and down the road is ATV trail access for nearby adventure. Onsite we have a stocked camp store, swimming pool, jumping pillow, classic rec hall, and brand new play equipment, as well as some peaceful walking trails in the back of the property. We’re strengthening our wifi so that you can stay connected while being that much closer to the great outdoors.

The Best Camping Near Springvale, Maine

Stayed here for a night it was quiet relaxing tent sites are in a field with no power hookups and when it rains you can't have your car in the field because people get stuck poured on us while we were there but other than that it was a nice place

We had a great spot in a wooded area. Mostly seasonal campers, but they were only about 20% occupied mid week.  Great for kids, clean pool, jump pad, and nice playground.  Would definitely stay here again (we had a spot with 30amp electric and water).  

Great summer spot

I was on a long road trip and only stayed a few days mainly to see the nearby Maine hotspots - Kennebunkport and Portland. The campground is not fancy, but clean and well maintained. Many of the sites were used by long-term campers, which turns the campground into a nice little neighborhood - everyone I greeted waved or said hello. I travel solo, and felt very safe.
