We had a great weekend camping at Lily Bay State Park. Easily accessible as it is a well maintained state park.The staff are friendly and keep the facilities extremely clean. Water access for all via the beach area or reserve early to get a site on Moosehead Lake. Kayaking and swimming are available from the site. Facilities are available. We had some very friendly chipmunks and a doe and fawn walk through our site. For adventurous folks, a ferry ride to Kineo and a hike to the tower is a great way to spend the day. Do your research, ferry schedules are subject to change due to weather. The hike is moderate to hard, but offers some fantastic views of Moosehead Lake.
