The nearby Land Between the Lakes park is amazing. This is a much more basic park and campground on the shore of the eastern lake. On site there is a little swimming shore and playground, with lots more to do at the many other nearby parks. Quick trip from Nashville, close to lots of highways. Simple campground with facilities including showers and laundry,

Yay: there are a few walk-to-only sites that let you have more privacy and closer to the water.

Nay: you really need a boat! No complaints about the campground, some sites are a little too close together though.

Surprise: loved exploring all the tiny inlets.
