Average State Park Campground

My family and I stayed here for a night while driving to the Smoky Mountains. The campground has everything that you would imagine plus a few more. The bathrooms were very clean, above standard and the sites were clean, although offered little shade. The park appears to get pretty soggy following any rains so be aware if you're sleeping on the ground. There are some amenities for the kids that I really enjoyed such as miniature golf and the Boonesborough Fort that you can tour. The one main thing I personally like about the campground is the proximity to the I-75 and being able to access the park while traveling.

I would certainly stay here again since I know I can expect clean showers and bathrooms and friendly staff.
