Nice atmosphere, a bit cramped

We stayed here the second week of October in 2020. The campground staff is polite and they have a runner guide you to your campsite, which is good because the sites are a bit cramped. If there is someone waiting to get into their site you kind of feel hurried to get unhitched, so keep that in mind and don’t forget things like putting chocks under the wheels. They deliver wood to the campsite which is nice they also don’t let kids ride bikes at night which makes sense. The big red slide and playground area in the holler is a fun area for the kids. We were there the week before the Halloween festivities and it looks like that was going to be a good time as well. We did not have any cell phone service here at all and from talking to some of the other campers they did not either so that eliminates at least Sprint and Verizon cell phone signal. There’s a Casey’s and a farm that sells firewood a few minutes away, and we were able to get us halfway decent signal there. Overall nice place, we will be staying here again.
