This boat-in campground within Payette National Forest requires watercraft access across Brownlee Reservoir. The US Forest Service manages this forested site with no developed amenities beyond fire rings, keeping costs at $10 or less per night during the May through October season. Pets accompany campers to this lakeside location.

One recent visitor found the area uncrowded during an October stay, noting the lack of facilities but confirming campfires remain permitted. The remote access method naturally limits visitor numbers compared to roadside alternatives. Campers seeking drive-up convenience might consider Woodhead Park northwest across the water.

Decent place.

Ok place. Wasn't overcrowded when there in October. No amenities but you can have a fire there. Was pretty peaceful.
