Great family campground overall

Just got home from a three night tent stay. The kids had a blast. There were free canoes to use at the lake area, a pool to splash in and lots of room to run around. We had site 3, which was a huge site and right on the water (maybe not the best site if you have little ones). This site had one scrawny tree, so not a lot of shade. But other tents site were also large and had much more shade. Great campground overall. I loved that they provide free firewood, not that a fire was needed to stay warm when we were there. But camping just isn’t the same without a campfire.

Nice campground

We’ve stayed here a couple times now. It is a nice place. It is a little run down though. The car, tent camping is great. You have your own plot under trees. If you tent camp is the rest of the camp ground you will need a pad under your tent. I ground is pretty course gravel with up to 1.25” sharp stones. Firewood is free though.

Nice place

Camp sites are a little tight but the services and amenities make it worth it. Hooks ups are nice and they have multiple. They provide canoes to borrow along with free fire wood. Camp store is stocked with some great supplies. Laundry was ok... Many machines were out of service. Overall a good family friendly place.

Great family friendly spot

Pros Good flat spots Easy access Water and electric in convenient places Pretty Free firewood Free showers!! Like hot showers. With space to move around. In case, say you’ve been in a small trailer for weeks with your kids, you might like to just have a few minutes to yourself. Hypothetically. Off the road so less worry about traffic. Close to town. Laundry. Decent WiFi Cell service on Verizon Also hot showers.

Cons Not fancy A little hilly

Came here on accident

My and my lady like this place a lot! Nicely maintained facilities and bathrooms with hot showers. We got there late in the evening with no reservations but we were lucky enough to go online and book it on the spot. There are a few options. RV's and cabins. We got a tent spot, they're fenced to separate everyone. Don't quote me but I think they have canoes for people to use and a waterway to the beautiful lake. Felt safe here. I'll be coming back if I ever venture this way.

Wonderful Place to Camp!

The camping, the grounds and the amenities are fantastic.  The staff go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need.  The access to the lake with free canoe rental and FREE firewood are things we have not encounter anywhere else.  Although we only stayed for the night, I would not hesitate to stay for a week(s)

Great Place!

Perfect spot after long time on the road

CDA (Camp Couer d’Alene) is really pretty awesome. After a few nights at more rugged campgrounds - this place was great. Friendly staff and a few spots to choose from prior to the holiday weekend were a bonus. $41.04 for a tent spot isn’t cheap; but lots of amenities: free canoe use, free firewood, hot showers, and some common areas (not real common due to Covid) including a small pool.

Great overnighter.

Busy little place however there are a few perks that make it special. Number one they allow free use of their canoes. The area to canoe in was beautiful the bonus was seeing a bald eagle! They also give free firewood for your campsite. Two things to consider: Most sites are pretty close to each other and since everyone enjoys their free firewood it gets quite smokey in the evening. Staff are very friendly always working, cleaning etc. I would stay here again!

Great family friendly campground.

This was a nice clean campground with great amenities. They have a small pool, hot showers and are located on the lake.

We like to stay here when we visit Silverwood Water Park.

Beautiful Campground on Coeur d'alene lake

Really enjoyed my stay here! This campground was very nice, it provided showers, bathrooms, kitchen, free firewood and even paddle boats! We took the paddle boat our for a sunset cruise and it was a very memorable experience! Overall, felt safe and had a great time.

Best campground ever

Love this campground best I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to about 25. Free firewood, pool, showers bathrooms, WiFi, canoes, paddle boats, great fishing, friendly people, playground only complaint is that nowadays they are packed barely have openings, used to cost $24 then they raised there price to $40 but it’s a great campground

Everuthing was relaxed and easy

We booked through Airbnb. when we arrived, we learned that the campground wa San old KOA. it had a decent shower room and we stayed in a small, clean cabin right by the entrance of the park. We also saw tent campers. You could take paddle boats out onto the lake if you wanted. We had a picnic table and an area for a fire. we all had a nice time.

Nice Campground

Short walk to showers and bathrooms (hot showers), most camp spots were smooth for tents a few were not. NIce lake to go out on next to the tent area, peaceful and quiet area. we would stay here again.

Beautiful camping. Amenities for just about everything.

Quick visit stayed here In order to explore coeur d Alene. On the lake and surrounded by mountains. Cabins, RV, tents sites available. Literally Something for everyone here. I like more off the beaten path camp grounds myself. Still you can't win the all. Our dog had a blast with our camp neighbors that made it. Dog friendly. Would stay here again.
