Didn’t take the history tour, but loved the southern charm and wildlife throughout the campground. We rode our bikes all over but the most enjoyable ride was the mile of causeway through the salt marshes. Campsite was level and the grounds were full but quiet. The only wifi was at the office/museum, so we would ride there on bikes and sit on the porch watching the visitors and taking care of business. We were visited by a snake and cute little gecko. Wishing we could have stayed much longer.
