Spent one night here in March of 2019.  Easy drive down a hard packed gravel road. Lots of shaded options to pitch a tent, facilities (showers) were clean and plenty (3-4 shower stalls). Our site had a fire ring with grate (not something you find everywhere), trees to hang a hammok, and flat spaces for tents. A very quiet spot with access to lots of hiking trails plus Silver Lake to go fishing. What more do you need?
