Not worth it

I have been here for 3 years and up until this new company/corporation bought it I had no issue. So they hired a man Steve from New York as the lawman and he is rude mouthy and useless. He will move your property then blame the outcome on you, he has hit my RV 4 times with his lawnmower as seen in video below and you won’t even get an apology from him or the manager. Chris the barefoot nasty hippy that cleaned the pool is gone so that is a plus. did I mention the grounds keeper also drives around in his big truck blasting music and honking his horn well I guess if you want all that come here but if you want peace and people to treat you and your property well do not come here. I will be leaving after 3 years of peace it’s gone. And it’s full of poison ivy bc the man who should mow and weed eat doesn’t do his job. That home town feeling that you came here for is now gone. It feels like New York here with the added benefit of bugs many many bugs that bite and I am from here so when I say it that’s bad. And half my lot and it’s not the only one is a sand pit and a mud pit when it rains. I had to shorten the video so I did not add the first hit to the table were he knocked off my plants. And if all that is not bad enough for you the two I named above picked on a lady in her 70 s to the point of making her cry

WHEN PRESENT OWNERS TOOK OVER EVERYTHING WENT DOWNHILL.  FROM CAMPGROUND TO THE FINANCIAL END OF IT.  AS  MARCH 21ST OF 2023 THEY GAVE OUT NEW CAMPING RATES FOR SNOWBIRDS. ON AUGUST 17TH RECEIV'D CALL THAT THEY WOULD BE RAISING RATES FOR THE COMING WINTER UP $150.00 PER LOT. NOT HONORING THEIR MARCH 21ST PRICE. ON SEPT 11TH I CANCELLED OUR RESERVATION.   WE WERE TOLD WE WOULD GET THE TOTAL OF $350.00 back in a matter of 3 days. WE CONTACTED THEM NUMEROUS TIMES ABOUT GETTING OUR ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT REFUND BACK. BUT JUST  BEEN GETTING THE RUN AROUND.  NO MENTION ABOUT OUR $200.00 LOT DEPOSIT FOR HOLDING OUR SPOT FOR COMING YEAR.  AS OF OCT. 8TH STILL NO MONEY!!! BACK IN 2020 WE WERE PART OF 15 RV CAMPERS THAT CAME TO OLD OWNERS OF ELEANOR OAKS CAMPGROUND.  THERE IS ONLY ONE OF THEM RETURNING.   SAMMY KUROWSKI

MOST DISHONEST CAMPGROUND I'VE EVER STAYED IN!!!

FHU, unleveled concrete pad with a picnic table. So close to the FT resident in the tiny home next to us, that we could not sit outside comfortably. Also, our area was right by her sewage hook up. And then there was a storage shed, leaf piles, random stacks of supplies, and a residential trailer behind us. The Pool was small but clean, we didn’t use. Dog park was ok, but other people don’t pick up after their pets, even with signs, and available poop disposal can. Maybe if management put mutt-mitts out, pet owners might use them. We booked months ago, and we arrived a bit after 5 due to traffic, there was no welcome packet, and no one answered the phone, with the posted #. Thankfully, the maintenance guy was friendly and helped us find our spot. It wasn’t easy to get to, or to see where it was. It was way too small to accommodate our 5th wheel and Dooley. If someone had been in the spot in front of us, we wouldn’t have been able to get in. The map online doesn’t even have our site listed. We were visiting family, so thankfully we weren’t there much. The area has lots of good restaurants, attractions, fishing, and springs! I do not leave 3 star reviews, but my honest review is to help others from paying $400 a week, at this park. I was hard pressed to leave a 3 star…. But Because of the area attractions, FHU, and helpful maintenance employee, was the reason I did. I would not reserve here again. Especially at the high price.
