Mid-autumn camping

The campground is very close to Silverton, about 1 mile off hwy 550 along county road 7. Not a lot of traffic or road noise. The road is gravel with some small potholes not worth mentioning. A sedan could make the drive easy. The campground is next to the creek, exposed to sunlight and has mountain views. You'll be driving and parking on small river rocks. A little bumpy but nothing too terrible. There are stone campfire rings, a toilet (bring TP), but no water (other than the creek) or garbage bin. Pack it in, pack it out. Very primitive, clean and quiet campground on a Monday in November.
