Single night stay

We stayed here in August of 2021 before traveling to the Lost Creek Wilderness to backpack, and this park was an easy way to stay close to the trailhead the morning before departure. The park was packed, with most spots full by the time night fell. We were near a primitive toilet and had some more shade and privacy than most other spots. This loop was farther away from the lake but near a trail that led to a large boulder formation. We had trouble finding potable water and just filtered water from the lake, but we also just wanted to test out our filter systems. Plenty of space for our truck and two tents, beautiful view of the lake and although there was noise from others nearby it wasn’t excessive.
