The road was easy to drive on with my Subaru Crosstrek. The views were fantastic and I even got to see some wildlife. Plenty of camping spots available and even when it got late there were some available further down the road. Don't be afraid to keep driving; in my opinion the best spots were at least 20 mins + drive down the pass road.
