Like a glove

This campground is super comfortable. I’m not sure why but it just feels right. Park staff very friendly. We had a nice site and plenty of campside room. I felt like I was in my neighbors site when I had to dump my tanks. The sewage hookup was right in front of his steps. The laundry is your standard $2 per load but the is only one washer and one dryer. Sequoia entrance is about 4 miles, but the trees are an hour up into the hills. Kings canyon is 2.5 hours. But it’s worth it. A bunch of restaurants nearby and the Village Market is a real grocery store. Great location.

Quiet and Safe

This park is pretty quiet, definitely feel safe here camping alone. A bit of a tight fit. They also do rafting tours. Best part of the stay is the spot they have on the river my dog can swi in every day.

Close to park

Great Basecamp for the National Park. Sites are tight, but all we needed was a place to park. They have a range of sites w/ e,w, & sewer. They also have restrooms, showers, and a laundry room. About half the sites are permanent sites, but the park was quiet. They also do rafting trips from here.

Everything you need.

The campsite is for different types of RVs and tent camping. It has clean toilets, bathrooms, laundry and even rafting. The campsite is next to the Kaweah river and you are surrounded by trees. Camping spots are flat with table and fire rings.

Three Rivers- Sequoias

First the pros: It’s perfectly located to Sequoias, fairly easy to get in and out and spots are large. Nice for an overnight. The description said they had pull through but they are all back in’s which if I had known that we would have never booked there! Cons: The grounds are small, nothing to be excited about and they have all these little stubby trees that seem to be strategically placed just in the way as sites are all back in. They have full timers as they all seem to have anymore. As we were unloading the jeep a guy parked right in the way so as we pulled around him to get to our site we clipped a fire ring. It appears we weren’t the first to hit it as it was already bent to start with as well as many of the others. The fire rings were rusted metal with an iron grill on top attached to the ground with a chain. To be honest my husband went to the office to confess that we ran over it. The lady thanked him for owning up to it but then charged us over $50 for the ring! I’m sure it won’t be replaced as none of the others that are all bent have never been replaced. It’s not like this park is pristine! I don’t disagree that we ran over it but if it was in perfect shape and not bent to start with then yes!! we should be charged for it. But one that’s already mangled and we get charged…for the cost of a new one- just ridiculous.

Convenient

I stayed here last minute after learning the state parks require a reservation made online 24 hours in advance. No more drive-in. This spot is a super convenient and friendly spot for RV and car camping. Access to the river is easy, WiFi is strong, showers and toilets are clean, staff are super friendly. Overall great spot for gearing up.

Would stay again

$30 for a non hookup site but we do have water. 10 minute drive to the entrance of Sequoia NP and that’s exactly what we were looking for. The guy at the desk was very pleasant. Bathrooms and showers were clean and showers were not quarter operated like so many campgrounds in this area so that’s a plus. Only spent one quick night but would stay again.

Convenient to Sequoia!

Stayed in van in tent space 52. Bathrooms had showers with hot water, clean. Had laundry but we didn't use. No real walking trails in the area but were able to go down to the river and there was a swimming hole,$40 for holiday weekend. Lady at front desk was nice and very helpful over the phone and in person- saved us a space even tho we didn't have reservation over memorial day weekend. Tent spaces were adjacent with little space between and around a large parking lot. Friendly, quiet.

Simple but good location

Simple campground with decent showers and toilets. We stayed with our car in a dry camping site, which was fine, but nothing special. Neighbors were quite loud, playing music outside

Very nice campground, very close to Sequoia NP

Clean restrooms and showers, nice picnic tables and fire rings, very nice tent sites. And the Wi-Fi was very good and covers the entire campground well. The campground has access to the river, though it did not carry a lot of water when we visited and you couldn’t swim.

Great Campground

Fantastic secluded campground with all amenities you need. Clean, quiet and convenient access to Sequoia National Park. With lovely staff who were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating, I would highly recommend these grounds for both tent camping and/or RV camping.

Fun on the water

Used to camp here with parents every summer when I was younger. Always had a blast here every year.

Great place to stay!

Great place to stay right outside the Sequoia Forest Park. Dry campsites were a little cramped, but not too bad. Showers were nice, but we got unlucky and took one right as the hot water ran out. Nice sink for doing dishes, too. The woman at the front desk is a national treasure, and was really friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are cleaned daily.

Sweet little swimming hole

This campground/RV park saved us when all of Sequoia was either full or closed due to COVID. The host was nice and helpful. It’s accurately described in other reviews — basically providing a dirt parking lot and toilet/shower facilities. No privacy, but still much more than most RV shared landing pads. We were in the tent section at the site closest to the water. There were trees on one side. We LOVED the little dammed up swimming hole in the river. We did not love that several huge trailers were parked in the other site flanking the water entrance. They didn’t belong in the tent area and they ran generators through most of the day. Seemed like long-term or permanent residents. Oh well, we came for Sequoia National Park. It was a real bummer to lose so much time just driving in and out of the park (as opposed to camping in the center of it), but we were grateful to find this one and only available option in July with no reservation.

Perhaps overpriced but serviceable

We stayed one night after visiting Sequoia. The campground is basically an unpaved parking lot with campsites around the edges. There is very little privacy between sites. There were toilets and showers available. The facilities were not in bad shape, but were not spotless.

Great location

The campground is behind a RV and up against the river. Its a flat dirt lot with bathrooms and showers available. Market is near buy as well as gas stations in case ice or other supplies is needed. There is a ramp down to the river but a small pool to play in for kids or to just relax. During the summer the campground can be very hot (July was pushing 100) but if you plan to spend the day at the river the cold water makes it feel like a perfect 75-80 degrees and worth hanging out all day. Its nice and dark at night to see all the stars and everyone is very respectful on the site. A small part of the site is used by a kayaking company and they’re also very respectful of the campers as well. Reasonably priced and very close to Sequoia National Park entrance. We enjoyed ourselves so much we came back 2 summers in a row.
