Snug Harbor RV Park & Marina is located near Walnut Grove, CA, offering a setting with flat terrain and waterways. Temperatures in the area range from the 40s in winter to the 90s in summer. Visitors can explore the nearby Sacramento River and Delta Meadows River Park, which provide opportunities for boating and fishing.

Located near the smaller Delta towns of Rio Vista, Walnut Grove, Isleton, Locke, and of course, the largest city is Sacramento which is 36 miles northeast of us. We are also a 15 minute drive from the Delta wine tasting region in Clarksburg, or 25 minutes from the Lodi wine tasting region or 60 minutes from the Napa Valley region!

The Best Camping Near Rio Vista, California

If you need a last minute place to stay, Snug Harbor works. Location is a little bit difficult to get to. Spots could use some cleaning up. Park was rundown when we visited. If you need a layover for the night, it will work, but overall, can find nicer locations near/on the Delta. 

Not Bad in a Pinch

My husband and I stayed for two nights.     It is difficult to get to when in an RV towing Two skis (still haven’t found out if the ferry can take vehicles that are towing) , but it was worth the drive.     It is an older park, but the bathroom was clean (and free) , there is a fantastic beach, the managers were super friendly, and best of all….. our RV window looked out over our very own doc!
