Great for fishing and boating but not much else

Camped there for 4 nights in spot 13. A lot of the sites are on a slope which can make it difficult for setting up tents, chairs and for using the picnic benches.

The lake is great for fishing and boating but not for swimming. We attempted but quickly got out as we discovered we were covered in a slimy, snot like substance.

There were A LOT of bugs! I go camping quite a bit but at night we got swarmed. We ended up hanging a lantern in a tree to deter them from getting us. It ranged from mosquitoes, gnats, moths and beetles.

I will say that the bathrooms were clean! No hand soap, we brought our own, but they did have hand sanitizer.
