Scenic Area and Lake

We stayed for two nights in late September. Never saw any camp host, other campers were complaining that toilets had not been serviced. Bear boxes had a lot of natural debris inside. Overall, the place needs a little attention. Rangers we’re working hard to remind people of no campfires, conditions too dangerous currently. That said, the area is beautiful and well worth the visit. Road through the campground was dirt with a few rocks to maneuver around, but no problem with clearance. Picnic tables were in good shape as were the bear boxes. Most sites had a combination shade and sun with tall pines. Best if you are self-contained. Great hiking all around, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing. Great area to relax.
