This is a great campground all year long. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere even though there is a small mountain town 20 minutes away and east county San Diego is only 40 away. Great for campers who like to hike. Lots of sites to choose from. Plenty of animal and bird watching. Star gazing is amazing as well. I have camped here in fall, spring and summer. I have never been disappointed.
