Beautiful secluded space

Sme friends and I headed up the sugar pine resovoir initially to camp at the camp ground across the way but it was all full up. We were lucky to find short tail right across the way. Even luckier we found a beautiful secluded spot surrounded by trees looking over a field of spring flowers and close ebough to the water to hear it. I cant recall the site number but it was in the very furthest corner from the entrance. The camp hpst was friendly enough to lwt us know the first spot we picked was a common stomping grounds for a bear that had been visiting at night. So keep food secured. The bathrooms were clean and stocked but there was not potable water and I didnt see and shower facilities. They encourage burning local wood in the area (there are fire pits) so they provide wood free of charge at the hosts spot! Overall it was a wonderful campground without too much noise at night.
