The Best Camping Near Mono City, California

We arrived on a Thursday afternoon. This campground is a first come, first served, no reservations required. Campsites come with a picnic table and bear locker. Beautiful spots near the water were availabe and the campground was relatively empty. This was the perfect place to escape the crowds and do a little stargazing near Mono Lake, Yosemite and Bodie State Park.

Perfect campground to get away for the weekend. Almost every time I have been here we see lots of deer. Nice hiking trails, beautiful scenery.

A great jumping off point for the region. Inexpensive with toilets and showers right up the road at the private campground.

Well kept rustic sites, good bath and shower facilities! Great views and great fishing. A small family run resort that makes it feel like home. Large RV will fit in some spots.
