Bobcat Meadow Campground - TEMPORARILY CLOSED
Reviewed Nov. 29, 2021

What a gem

Arrived here my early Sunday afternoon and I was the only one that ended up camping for the night. There’s a total of 18 sites and some are tent accommodating and some Kennett accommodate larger rugs but none of them are pull through sites. Each site does have a fire ring and there are two clean vault toilets that were stocked as well as recycling cans and a single trashcan on the other side of the bathroom. It was extremely peaceful at night seeing how I was the only one here even with a little bit of oh HV traffic. If that’s your jam, this is supposed to be. Right next to one of the main trails and surrounded by 50+ miles of them. Had good cell service and made it up to the campground just fine but would recommend taking it extremely slow since it’s mainly one lane road and wouldn’t recommend bringing anything larger than a small size trailer/camper behind. Definitely would stay here again. You do need a park pass to stay here for free or you can purchase at a price which is five dollars digitally and they have information on how to do so on the information board at the entrance.
