Due to a time crunch with work OT on the weekend, we ventured out to a campsite strictly for hiking. We were not disappointed. The trails aren’t well marked but are well used which led me to believe, if you could find them then that meant you knew how to use them, man we were not disappointed! 100 yards into the trail you couldn’t tell if you were a million miles away from civilization or 100 feet away from a main road, the ability to step straight into beautiful area and just see and hear wildlife everywhere was exactly why we can’t up here. Next time we are in LANF for camping (which is not terribly often) I will definitely put this site on our To-Stay list!
