Quiet place to work during the week

Very enjoyable stay. The park is clean, quiet and there’s a few trails that take you to the Beach. It’s about a 30 min walk but an easy one. Theres electric, cable and water at the pole. The sewer is up near the entrance. All in all a nice peaceful retreat. I work remote and have had meetings all week. No issues with Verizon or T mobile Hot spots.

Good location

With a good location you can take some walks to the Salmon River. The pull thru was long but is very narrow. Time you are setup, the camp side of the site is very small. There is a lattice between the sites that lend to some privacy. All pea gravel, and fairly level. T-Mobile service is weak. Wi-Fi is available but very slow. When you check in they give you two pages of rules and 7 sins of camping. Entertaining.

Bodega Bay for a couple days

Checked in a little later in the day- they had our name and spot on a sheet tacked on the bulletin board at the check-in area-

Our spot was very close to the entrance – mostly level a little angle downhill so bring some blocks.

First made the mistake of trying to back in- it turns out these are pull in spots, so make sure if you’re not in a pull through that you read the sheet and determine if you should pull in or back in.

Fairly quiet on a Saturday night close to town and a very comfortable stay.

Only electric and water hook ups but 50 amp is really nice and they have a dump here at the park. You can use when you check out.

When I did have a chance to meet them in the office, they seemed really nice at the front desk, and kind of surprised that we would check in our second vehicle :) maybe most people don’t. ;)

Great location, lots of campers

Clean and well laid out. Laundry has 3 washers and 3 dryers. Prices are high but normal for CA. It’s a bit of a walk to the nearest beach, but you can drive if you want to. Sites are all gravel with a picnic table and divided by a fence. It’s a packed place with no real views. Staff is very nice. Dogs were wondering through our site and quiet hours were not enforced.

Not kid Friendly!

I came here with a group of 5 trailers for a family camping trip. Unfortunately, we were yelled at (I don’t know how many times) about the kids. We all have wonderful kids and they are very well mannered but they were not allowed to do anything at the RV park! No biking, no running, no loud talking, etc. It was not family friendly at all. We felt like we’re were constantly being policed. We were definitely not partying either (my 80-year old parents were with us! LOL) We have not been back since. Very unfortunate. I would definitely recommend it for seniors only as they are not inclusive to anyone who has younger children and families.

Awesome small campground

Nice spaces with privacy fences, picnic tables and full hook ups available. Clean and well maintained. Adjacent to the Sunday farmers market which is a nice treat.

Clean Rv park

This was a very well kept place. Everything else in the area was full, so we stayed here. It’s not the best for families though. No bike riding or scooting, so we had to walk them to the walking path. They also mention a few times about well behaved children. Finally, it’s not really walking distance to the water. So I’d recommend this place for retirees.

Nice

We visited last year during the virus so restrooms and some other amenities we cannot rate.  Do not go in early least you pay a $10 fee.  They do maintain the grounds so an early arrival is not good.  The dog runs were good.

Well-maintained and Friendly

I felt lucky to get a last-minute drop-in spot in busy Bodega Bay on the weekend. A two-night minimum is required, but I was happy to stay for two nights. The staff is very friendly, COVID restrictions had the restrooms and laundry facilities closed, but I appreciated the serious adherence to masks and other COVID guidelines. The park is very well-maintained, nicely landscaped, and each day the crew cleans and rakes all of the sites after check-out. A Mexican restaurant and coffee shop are at the front of the property, and other businesses are nearby. On Saturdays there is a farmer's market on the property adjascent to the park. There are nearby paths which I didn't get to explore too much, but I believe bay and beach access isn't far away. The only aspects preventing a 5 star reveiw are that the sites are a bit close together, and there's not a view other than the trees.

Coast Camping at its best

This campground is one of the best. Best friendly and helpful staff. Very clean sites and restrooms. We have stated there in the past and are very presently surprised when we go back and find it has not changed from being a great place to stay. It is not fancy but has everything you need to make your stay pleasant. Sites are gravel, which are racked before your arrival.  On the outskirts of Bodega Bay.
