I was pleasantly surprised that is was not crowded on a holiday weekend.  The views were amazing.  We continued to the end of the dirt road.  The road was a bit rough but not too terrible  if you go slow and are cautious.  We hiked and explored the first day and we saw  a great overview of the Colorado river.  Be cautious when exploring there are small cactus that are low to the ground.  We will definitely visit again.
