3 day
No host seen in 3 days. Sites were over grown with weed, restrooms were dirty. Same for shower but it had hot water. No shade. Made it work!

Dirt pads with small sunshades. Registration cards (after paying online) are at the easy to overlook sign at the entrance.
Non-electric sites are the first ones. Electric are the farthest in ones, with walk in tent sites even farther in.
Flush toilets (clean) and a shower in one of the two bathrooms.
I booked a reservation for several month from now. I called, emailed, texted, and messaged through the website because I wanted to clarify what type of fire ring I needed to bring. I never heard back from them. I’m now worried about staying there because I can’t get ahold of anyone for almost a month. I want to cancel my reservation now but I still can’t get in contact with anyone.
We stayed for a weekend. Not sure I would stay longer than that. The dump area for RVs/vans is in a very inconvenient place. You have to have a long hose to reach it. However the thing that really bothered us was the amount of dog poop around the dump and trash area. It looked like it hadn’t been picked up in a few weeks. Granted this wasn’t peak time but still. There are bags to use right next to the bathroom. The showers also hardly had any hot water when we tried to use them. We’ve been to plenty of places and haven’t had a problem. We only saw the host the first day we came. He didn’t even know we had a reservation. He was nice and gave us all the information like WiFi password.
I have visited many parks. I rarely find a camp host eager to help solve any problems you are experiencing during your stay . The facilities are clean and modern. Big open area for off lease fun with your pets. Plenty of fresh water at your disposal. Want a night fire, grab a pit and some Wood from the common area a roast The marshmallows umm delicious. Any thing like groceries, gas, gear. kanab is 5 miles away. Awesome views from camp. If you are a bird lover . There is a creek that runs the back length of the off lease area. Lots of trees and wildlife. Final thought. The night sky star gazing is amazing with milky way in full glory possible because of very little artificial light in the area. Diffently looking forward to coming back in the spring.
Great private campground in a super convenient setting. Modern restrooms and showers that we loved. We had a tent and small camper, which fit easily into one large site. Plus there is lots of room for dogs to run safely and right on the property. Totally recommend.
Had five glorious days here in Kanab, at Simple life. Cleanest, restrooms, fastest Wi-Fi, and best host. They cater to smaller campers and vans like ours, so we made a number of friends and travel mates. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
For tent camping this place rates a zero, rough gravel or thorns under your tent. It rates stars for the location and the restroom/showers. We couldn't stay and found a hotel in Kanab instead.
A nice surprise. Very nice and small, a good thing because it means quiet— in terms of people noise. You can hear the cars driving by the highway all night long, but that didn’t bother us. The bathrooms are amazing. Clean, hot water, showers, modern, with lots of places to hang and set your stuff. Beautiful sunsets. There’s a factory in front of the camp but the back is just beautiful. The host is from France and he was just great. Super nice and kind. I would definitely recommend.
Context: one night and heavy rainstorm immediately before arrival so this should be considered when reading my comments.
Positives: hot shower, bathrooms cleaned early and quite nice. Well-groomed sites with table, shade cloth, water +/- electricity. Camp host(when I located them) was very friendly.
Negatives: no indication who the host is. No responses to text messages sent to the contact number on their website. Was never given the WiFi password so of no value to us. I’ve heard it’s quick…
Suggestion to a better job communicating with upcoming guests - most AirBnB hosts we have dealt with are a good example of how to do it.
Camp host is amazing! Very friendly and helpful with local knowledge of things to do. It’s also a bonus that she’s a dog person since we’re traveling with our 2 dogs. Perfect place to call home base for a few nights while checking out the Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon and more!
Nice simple campground. Great location near Kanab but far enough to escape city noise. Two bathroom facilities, one with a shower. Warm water only lasts about 5 minutes but that's all you need. Nice wide parking spaces.
Spent two nights here and are reserved for 5 more next week...Stayed in over area campgrounds that were full of generators and BIG rv's....SimpleLife only allows gens for 1 hour a day ... and no campers over 24' ... hung out with cool people like us...not like grandma!
Great campground. It’s a no frills campground but it has everything we need. Full hookups, clean showers with hot water, 2-3 bars Verizon, about 4 miles south of Kanab. This looks like a relatively née campground. On-site host. Reservations were easy to make. This is a great place to set up as home base for a few days while you explore the area.
