Blue Ridge Campground is located about 5 miles north of Blue Ridge Reservoir, as the crow flies. It is about 10 miles by road. This narrow, winding body of water looks more like a canyon-bound river than a lake. Nestled between forested canyon walls it provides picturesque water recreation in a secluded, wooded setting. If fishing is your cup of tea, you can catch rainbow, brown or brook trout here.

There's plenty to do for everyone, including sightseeing, wildlife watching, hiking, and mountain biking available here in these canyon-carved uplands. The Best Camping Near Happy Jack, Arizona

We are pretty new to camping and I haven't been to a ton of campgrounds but in all the campgrounds that we camped at this is by far the most accessible if your a chair user. Each campsite had a grill, the campsites were locked off with cemete in perfect boxes for your tent and hanging out area around the campfire. The staff was extremely nice. They came to our campsite and talked with us about the facilities. Only down side is that the lake is not accessible at all if you can't walk. There is only a boat ramp no rocks or anything to sit on if you just want to go fishing. You definely need a boat of some sort.

Camping on wheels

This campsite is very small and you can see everything going on in almost all of the other sites, all of the time. Aside from that, well kept, friendly camp host and a short drive from Blue Ridge Reservoir (C.C. Cragen). Has been fully renovated in the past few years will all new tables and tent pads.  Must be a creek bed nearby as there were a lot of gnats and other bugs in the evenings/mornings.

Only one set of toilets for the entire site so this can get busy.  Short drive to Clint's Well for supplies if needed, including water and firewood.

Small but good location

The camp hosts Chris and Jerry are wonderful. The camp was very clean and well managed. Each camp was like a little zen garden. Manicured very well and organized. The community toilets even smelled good! 


Great campground 

Only rating this 4 stars cause I broke my femur and pelvis out there. Had a fantastic time though!
