Description
Along the Nabesna River corridor inside Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge, this flat dirt-and-gravel pullout sits just off Northway Road in Alaska's remote eastern interior — a stretch of sub-boreal wetlands and salmon streams not far from the Canadian border. The site accommodates a small handful of rigs and draws light road traffic, with the river right at hand for wildlife watching — bears and fresh salmon are part of the landscape here. Pack out what you pack in; the spot's condition depends on it.
